I made the cross country trek from Spokane to Charleston over the Thanksgiving Day weekend. It took me 3-1/2 days driving with a quick stop in Memphis to see my favorite niece! I just made it south before a winter storm blew across the mid-west and plains.
The boat survived all the storms while I was gone and was in good shape when I arrived. Since we are planning to leave around Dec 2nd, I am now running around like crazy trying to get critical items for safety and comfort as well as trying to find places to put my meager possessions now that I am moving onto the boat full time. I have gone through 4 or 5 rounds of purging and have a feeling that I am going to have to purge a bit more before we leave.
